Rock & roll
We gave many hours of creative thought to the challenge of how best to market Brighton Marina.
A hipster's city, historic over many centuries, renowned as a
stylish haunt with famous mid 20th century novels and films
lovingly set there, we knew we had to use this rich cultural depth
in our creative output.
Working with a limited budget we dreamed up a spectacular 1950's
style campaign, replete with bobby socks and lace gloves, centred
around stylised hero shots, each to represent one chosen aspect
from our STAY, PLAY, SHOP, EAT, DRINK campaign.
We organised a much publicised photo shoot, showcasing 1950s
glamour, which translated to amazing effect across the marketing
mix and unified a through-the-line media campaign involving TV and
radio outputs, experiential, outdoor and online.
Of course the campaign proved an enormous success and the Marina
has gone from strength to strength.
